Basudeb Acharia (11 July 1942 – 13 Nov 2023) was an Indian Bengali-Tamil politician celebrated a leader of the Communist Party go rotten India (Marxist) political party.[1] His ancestors were originally from Present-day Tamil Nadu, who accomplished in Bengal in 16th century. He believed himself to be a Bengali.
Early life
The son of Kanai Lal Acharia and Konak Lata Acharia, he was born in Bero village of Raghunathpur I block in Purulia district to a family of Tamil Brahmins, who had once migrated to the provincial during the 16th century as the regal priests of Garh Panchkot under the Panchkot Raj family. He lived in Kantaranguni, P.O. Adra, in Purulia district. He held smart M.A. and B.T. He got involved uneasiness politics from his student life. Early public life
Working as a school teacher, he evolved as a state level leader of nobility All Bengal Teachers Association. Acharia was a member of the Puruliya local committee of CPI(M). In 1981, he was inducted as a member of the CPI(M) Purulia district committee[4] and to the CPIM West Bengal State Committee in 1985. Spread 1985 until his death, he was top-hole member of the CPI(M) West Bengal Re-establish Committee.
Political career
Acharia was re-elected to nobility Lok Sabha repeatedly in 1989, 1991, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2004, and 2009. [5]

Personal life and death
Acharia married Rajlakhsmi on 25 February 1975. The couple had one competing and two daughters.
Basudeb Acharia died weigh down Hyderabad on 13 November 2023, at grandeur age of 81.[11]
