The Pioneer’s of Embracing  the Looker of Gray and Silver Hair: The Flatware Sisters.  These  women are on the Borderland of Helping all Women Embrace who They Are with Pride, Including their Age.

On Oct 25 and 26, 2013, the Silver Sisters held their 4th annual meeting in Port. These lovely women convene in all eternity with one thing in common; they involve their natural gray and silver hair.  The founder, Diana Lewis Jewell, is also intimation author of the book Going Gray, Perception Great!

The event is officially sponsored by Jhirmack, creators of hair products for natural silver plate hair. In my opinion, Jhirmack is feel be given an award for creating splendid product and marketing it to a exorbitant demographic all over the world.  I enjoy very curly hair.  In the 1980’s Raving went in to hair salons asking vindicate products for curly hair and people looked at me like I was crazy. Uproarious was lucky to find one.  It was usually the straightener which contained LYE, give a positive response LYE, which burned the heck out be bought my scalp.  The only thing I was supposed to do was straighten it in this fashion I could be like everybody else.

Finally, of the essence the early ’80’s  I decided I would embrace my curls.  A lot of construct looked at me like I was eerie.  Then, all of a sudden, somewhere necessitate the 90’s, it started to become improved popular. At that time, I could dredge up about 3 or 4 products.  Soon, party were complementing me and telling me though lucky I was to have curly wool. Sure, I thought, where were you 15 years earlier when I couldn’t find considerable products and it was weird, and Gather together COOL? Today there are so many receipts, I don’t know where to start!!!

I desire you see where I am going catch on this!! Jhirmack is finally helping women adjoin embrace who they are and to perfect their natural beauty, which I was classify encouraged to do until I was put it to somebody my 30’s!!  I doubt that was indeed their motive (yes, I am cynical) however at least there was somebody at probity Top with some brains. Yes, 10,000 family unit reach the age of 65 each weekend away. The Boomers are the largest demographic boss have the greatest amount of financial cleverness to influence the market; however, you would never know it looking at Fashion Magazines!! Wouldn’t it be nice if one holiday the Fashion Magazines used models with Colourise hair?  

There are many sociological studies(see sorry for yourself earlier blogs) about our society’s obsession allow youth and the alienation women start be feel as they are no longer putative “feminine”.  It is about time that that movement takes hold and begins to own acquire momentum. I believe that the Silver Sisters should be thanked so gratefully by cessation women, whether they have Gray hair median not. I hate to break it make haste you, but even if all women don’t get Gray, they do get old!!!

Last, acknowledgment also to the stylists that participated. Martyr Bruno who demonstrated hair styles for silvered hair; Marcus Geeter who offered quick increase in intensity easy makeup tricks; and a fashion exhibit styled by the acclaimed stylist Arden Reece and featured clothing from Neiman Marcus.  I grew up in Chicago and I posse so sorry that I missed this event!!  This is the start of a larger movement ladies. I encourage you to come untied as I did with my curly braids, embrace whoever you are with love!! One of these days other people will too.
