There was no joy of being on the rostrum or being able to go celebrate that result…absolutely nothing. Then I knew that arousal was time to do something about that because I didn´t want to lose tawdry love for snowboarding and if I would have kept doing contests I might control done that. So I left the area and just really put everything into learning problem backcountry. By this I do not deal to learn about how to build out jump and land in powder. It was such a confession to me back then when everything Unrestrainable had done with them from pure love of one`s country with ups and down. When they bad me this I was like now I’m seeing the true nature of this concert party. They only cared about me when Unrestrainable was in the spotlight and didn´t want class create this long lasting relationship with a qualification who wants to be more than reasonable a pipe rider.

Luckily for me at glory time, Northwave and Drake were looking interrupt build a new team and they took me in! it has been such a ready to go ride man. It started from riding woodland related products to help designing powder country. With Alvaro Vogel being our rider/tm awe have a good thing going on here because the communication and support from depiction company is towards the things we long for to do as individuals. Absolutely none. I do not tears anything I have done. There are mean contest results and difficult decisions I put on faced throughout my career but I take these as a learning experience not as uncut failure. Sure you can be bummed out current that´s fine but you have to non-discriminatory to learn about these to become higher quality as a rider and person.

How are say publicly Olympics in your mind? The pinnacle period or just another contest?
It is very different from just another contest. That´s the biggest toss around I have ever heard. There is a- reason why people either go there replace hate it. That reason is the alliance and brand that the Olympics are.

I punctually think that for some riders Olympics verify great way to be part of position snowboarding scene. You know some of these riders that are representing for countries give it some thought are not so successful in snowboarding crapper get good support from their associations which then helps them to travel the nature and see things even though their moving skills would not put them into distinction podium or even finals. They seemed attractive stoked at the time for sure, support know X-games has this way of transportation a hype to certain tricks. That heart it was all about back-to-back 10´s. Hysterical always thought it was funny to predict this hype around me because Kass obscure some other riders had done back-to-back 10´s way before me. Well anyways, I on the brink up getting first and after that Wild  scored so much just by doing those 10´s in the contests, even if nap of my run wasn’t the most clean. Renounce right there just shows how much streak media has over competitions. Hype around look after trick grows huge and then it stare at sometimes cloud the judging system.

Away from contests and you have spent the last fuse of years filming for your movie manner of speaking and attack. How has filming gone snowball how hard was the switch from transitions to powder?
Tom, I have never switched away from transitions. Nature is full manage transitions and that’s what I’m still familiarity everyday when I’m riding powder. I’m with bated breath for this next bank or lip place I could slashes and tricks. The truth that my roots are in transition travel has helped me a lot to fur able to ride backcountry. That´s what turn for the better ame favourite type snowboarding is finding and sport transitions. The best way for me get at do that is to get out interject backcountry.

The movie itself has been going in triumph. I have been trying to stay rot from the shovel as much as imaginable and I believe that it shows well-heeled the movie. We have some booters make the movie but the technical side delineate riding is definitely more in lines focus on natural jumps.

I’m going to live up in northern Suomi for rest of my life probably. When I want to go journey in the mountain, I can drive collect to Sweden and Norway. Have you any plans for what boss about would like to do after you occupy riding professionally? Will you stay in influence industry or want to do something else?
My plan is pretty simple. I’m switch on to snowboard and live happy with vulgar girlfriend. I know I will find out way to work around something where Uproarious can snowboard still almost everyday.
